Assistant Professor of Biology – 026a.1617 (RE-POSTED)
Summary: Teach courses in introductory biology, human anatomy, human physiology, and elective courses as needed. Incumbent will also develop a research program in their area of expertise, advise undergraduate and graduate students, and attempt to secure external funding for their research. Position will also require serving on departmental committees and participation in departmental governance. Incumbent will be evaluated based on their performance in teaching, research, and service.
Ph.D. in Biology or terminal degree in appropriate field
Sufficient combination of coursework and experience to teach human anatomy and physiology
Teaching experience in human anatomy and physiology
One year of post-doctoral work experience
Terms of Appointment: Renewable, academic year contract with 1.0 FTE.
Salary: Competitive based on experience.

This position is responsible for teaching MSW courses and participating in the MSW accreditation process.

This position also provides some student advising.
MSW degree from a CSWE accredited MSW Program and also have a doctorate degree in a related field
Minimum of two years of post-MSW practice experience
Practice and/or research experience in the areas of mental health and/or health care.
CSWE accreditation experience
